So, type “list disk” and then, press the Enter key. Now, write down the USB flash drive number. Once you are done, navigate to the Command Prompt, and type “select disk <X>.” Where the X is the USB flash drive number. Now, hit the Enter button. Type “clean” and press the Enter button once again. From the USB flash drive, this action will remove all the data.
Now, it’s time to create a new primary partition on the USB flash drive. Therefore, you require to enter “create part pri” and click on the OK button. After that, in the Command Prompt, type “select part 1” in order to choose the partition that you have recently created.
Now, press the Enter button and type “format fs=ntfs quick” to format the partition. Now, hit the Enter button and write “active”. Then, press Enter. Once it is done, simply type “exit” and hit Enter. Lastly, save it to the root of the USB flash drive.
After creating a bootable device, you can insert it and boot Windows from it. Next, navigate to the Windows Setup window. Then, choose “Time and Currency format”, “language to install”, and “keyboard or input method”.
Now, tap on “Repair your computer” and then, press the “Troubleshoot” option. After that, go to the “Advanced options” and choose the Command Prompt.
Here, in the Command Prompt, enter the following commands:
- Firstly, type “bootrec /fixmbr”
- Secondly, enter “bootrec /fixboot”
- Next type “bootrec /scanos”
- Finally, write “bootrec /rebuildbcd”
Once you are done, just press the Enter key. This process might take a while to finish. Once the process is over, restart your Asus device and check whether the issue gets removed or not.
Method 4: Run System Restore
